Disassembly and Assembly

  1. Refer to the exploded view for disassembly and assembly.

  2. To remove the sheave (item 8) from the sheave bushing (item 7), remove the sheave bolts (item 9) and insert them into the tapped removal holes. Then progressively tighten each bolt until the sheave is loose.

  3. During assembly, the following parts must be retained tight (no end play permitted) by the sheave busing (item 7) and the shoulder of the shaft (item 3): Spacers (items 4 and 5), and inner ring of the bearing (item 2). Caution: Do not back off the sheave busing for belt alignment or any other reason.

  2. Specify complete starter part number and serial number when ordering replacement parts:

    Part Number:  CS-8S-RH1
    CS-8S is the Model Number and RH1 is the drive Number

     

  3. Order by PSI part number and description from the Replacement Parts List.

  4. Order from your nearest PSI dealer for from the PSI factory.
